About SAAHSP - Setting the Standards

The South African Association of Health and Skincare Professionals (SAAHSP) gives peace of mind to the public by setting the standards for the health, skincare and nail industry.

SAAHSP is the South African section of CIDESCO (Comité International D’Esthétique Et De Cosmétologie), the international authority that is committed to protecting and elevating the professional beauty industry around the world.

The voluntary, non-profit organisation has grown to encompass 35 National Associations represented in 30 countries spread across five continents.

  • This non-profit organisation works to maintain the highest levels of care, service and professionalism within this industry. It acts as a controlling body to set standards for education and therapists and the treatments they perform.

  • SAAHSP offers higher and modular courses, higher education examinations, accreditation to skincare clinics and conduct annual inspections.

  • SAAHSP and CIDESCO diplomas are sought after as graduates with these qualifications receive exceptional reception from employers, both nationally and internationally.

  • Therapists and qualification holders can join SAAHSP- CIDESCO section SA and upon application agree to honour the ethical rules and conditions of SAAHSP - CIDESCO section SA.
